(S'Locked 4 months, 1 week, 3 days)
I guess its time for an update! Well as I am quickly approaching 5 months locked, I think its time to update you all on whats been going on with my hair. Though I am still uncertain as to when one can tell whether or not their hair is locking...something is definitely going on here. My locks seem a bit stronger and firmer than they did before.  I started noticing a change after my last retightening. Here are some pics at the 4 month ~ish mark!

Sisterlocks: 5.5 months old (tomorrow)
Wow, time keeps on slipping...slipping...slipping! I was sitting here today and it just dawned on me that I have been officially free of creamy crack for 9 months. There was a time a few months ago, a few days ago even where I was beginning to doubt myself. I have often felt hesistant and impatient at the same time throughout the journey. There are days when I am just not feeling it, then there are days when I look at this nappy head of mine and smile. I realize that my hair is doing just what it should be doing and I am no longer manipulating it into what other people consider beautiful. True beauty radiates from the inside out regardless of what one's hair looks like and this mane of mine is growing more and more each day. My locks are taking on great form and I am so thankful to be traveling on this journey. Its truly amazing what can happen when you simply let nature run the show.
Here are a few pics I have taken over the past few months or so...
